Contract Language

Did the contract represent you fairly in all matters or did you later believe you should have a lawyer review your deal?
Particularly important about warranty issues.

I see the AHRC has a Centex complaint form on that page. Just FYI.

Centex Buyer Beware !

One thing that becomes apparent from the links that got me to this page:
You better be skeptical and very much aware, maybe even have a lawyer handy, when Centex or any builder has you sign a waiver. Especially if your home is done ahead of schedule, suddenly they have a warranty waiver in front of you.
Come on now, how can you rush a schedule without cutting something short? They will say they used more manpower, but you can have only so many workers at a time before they trip all over each other, and forget things. Certain things must happen in sequence, concrete and stucco for example, require time to cure before the surface treatment.

If moisture is trapped, mold grows.

An inspector can't possibly inspect a dozen homes in the time alloted for 4 homes. Some things are simply not possible.

Ko Olina Kai in Oahu.
I don't think their disclosure of an obligation to fund an Ocean Club which is not really wanted to residents of Ko Olina. This impacts the Ko Olina Kai, Kai Lani, Fairways, Hillside, and any Centex developments in Ko Olina.

MY FASCIA HAS FALLEN OFF AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fascia issues again, and again. This is completely Ridiculous. Every time we get a gust of wind my house is falling apart. This fascia issue has to get resolved. Parts are flying off, and other pieces are barely hanging on which cause a loud bang when the wind picks it up and slams it against my house. I have talked to Butch about this in the past. Please get it right this time and fix my house. If this fascia fly off and hits a adult, child or cause damage to a house or vehicle, it will not be the homeowners fault, it will be Centex fault because this is an on going issue and there is plenty of documentation to back it up.
